Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom Salt)
£3.58
Magnesium Sulphate boosts plant health by correcting magnesium deficiencies, aiding chlorophyll production, fostering greener, lusher growth.
Enhances nutrient uptake and helps produce lush green foliage.
Corrects Deficiencies: Reverses leaf yellowing (chlorosis) between veins, particularly in older leaves.
Application Methods:
1. Dissolve 1 tbsp in 1 gallon of water and apply at the base of plants monthly.
2. Spray directly onto leaves to quickly correct deficiencies.
3. Sprinkle 1 tsp around the base of new plants.
Best For: Roses (increases bloom size), tomatoes (prevents stunted growth), peppers, and potted plants.
Avoid Overuse: Excessive application can lead to magnesium buildup, which may block the absorption of other vital nutrients.
Not a Complete Fertilizer: It lacks essential nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, so it should be used in addition to, not as a replacement for, balanced fertilizer.
Apply March–August but not in bright, sunny conditions to prevent leaf scorch.
