2L Wisteria - Amethyst Falls

A popular, compact cultivar of American wisteria known for its manageable size and early blooming habits. Unlike its more aggressive Asian counterparts, this variety is non-invasive and perfectly suited for smaller gardens, patios, and containers. It produces dense, fragrant, lilac-purple flower clusters (racemes) that are shorter than those of Japanese or Chinese wisterias.

Peak flowering in May and June, often with a second lighter flush in late summer.

Typically reaches 3–5 metres (10–15 ft) in height, but can be maintained at half that size with pruning.

Fully hardy in the UK.
