2L Clematis - Early Sensation

Early Sensation is a beautiful and popular evergreen climber. Unlike many other clematis, its stems are non-clinging, making it a versatile choice for both vertical training and trailing displays.

Large, snow white blooms with striking greenish yellow centres appear from March to May. They often emerge with a creamy green tint before maturing to pure white.

Delicate, "parsley green" evergreen leaves provide year round interest. New growth often emerges with a bronze tint.

Typically reaches a height of 2-3 metres and a spread of about 1 metre.

Produces a delicate, sweet, or mild citrus scent.

Non-clinging stems require a framework like a trellis, wires, or an obelisk for support.

Flourishes in full sun or partial shade. It prefers a sheltered spot, such as against a south or west-facing wall.

Requires little to no regular pruning. If necessary, tidy or restrict its spread immediately after flowering in spring.
