2L Alstromeria Inca - Ocean
£7.80
Alstroemeria 'Inca Ocean' is a popular dwarf variety of the Peruvian lily known for its unique, multi-toned flower palette. This compact hardy perennial produces masses of trumpet-shaped flowers starting in June and continually re-blooms all the way through to the first autumn frosts.
The flowers feature distinct lilac-lavender outer petals that fade to clean white or cream toward the throat, complete with golden-yellow accents and dramatic dark maroon speckles.
A neat, upright dwarf cultivar, with a mature height of roughly 30-50cm and a spread of about 40cm.
The lance-shaped leaves are a deep, waxy green, providing a rich background contrast for the cool-toned blossoms.
It thrives best in full sun but can comfortably tolerate partial shade. Maximize sunlight to get the highest volume of flower flushes.
To encourage continuous flower production, do not cut spent stems. Instead, firmly grasp the base of the faded flower stem and sharply pull/pluck it upward out from the root clump.
