1L Scabious - Blue Note

A highly popular, compact, and long-blooming perennial plant known for its charming lavender-blue "pincushion" flowers. It is a firm favourite in UK gardens and is renowned for its ability to continuously bloom and attract pollinators.

Features distinctive soft lavender-blue, button-like pom-pom flowers resting on wiry stems just above a low, tidy mound of grey-green, finely divided foliage.

Blooms prolifically from early summer right through to mid-autumn (usually June to October).

Grows to an ultimate height and spread of roughly 30cm to 40cm making it ideal for the front of borders, rockeries, and containers.

Wildlife: It acts as a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.
