Salvia 'Wine and Roses' is hardy, upright, semi-evergreen perennial that produces striking two-tone red and purple flowers from June to November. It thrives in full sun, reaches approximately 60–75cm in height and spread, and requires well-drained soil, making it perfect for borders and pots.

Thrives in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade.

Requires well-drained soil; dislikes waterlogged conditions, which can cause winter losses.

Generally hardy, but needs protection in severe frost (below -5 to -10°C).

Do not prune in autumn. Instead, trim back in late spring (April/May) to prevent woody stems and encourage new growth.

Drought-tolerant once established. Deadhead regularly to encourage flowering until late autumn.
