1L Salvia - Mystic Spires

Salvia 'Mystic Spires Blue' is a compact, robust hybrid sage known for its striking, deep violet-blue flower spikes that bloom continuously from early summer until the first frosts. It is a smaller, more manageable descendant of the popular 'Indigo Spires' variety, typically reaching a height and spread of 45–75 cm. This tender perennial is highly valued for its ability to attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, its exceptional heat tolerance, and its relative resistance to deer and rabbits.

Regularly deadhead spent spikes to encourage a constant supply of new blooms. If the plant becomes leggy in midsummer, it can be sheared back by one-third to stimulate fresh, bushy growth.
