11cm Clematis - Rooguchi

Currently approx 30cm tall.

A stunning, semi herbaceous, non-clinging hybrid (roughly 6-8 feet tall) that produces bell-shaped, violet-blue flowers from summer to autumn. Because it does not twine, it requires a trellis, obelisk, or nearby shrub for support to scramble up. It thrives in full sun/light shade and requires hard pruning in late winter or early spring.

Ideal Structures: A small 4-foot to 6-foot obelisk, trellis, wire grid, or fencing is perfect for supporting its scrambling growth.

Pruning (Group 3): This is a "hard prune" variety. Every early spring, you will cut the entire plant back to about 12 inches (30cm) above the ground, making it very easy to clear old growth from your trellis.
