A hardy, low-growing perennial plant celebrated for its striking patterned flowers and sweet, clove-like fragrance. Developed by the world-renowned breeders Whetman Pinks in Devon, this compact alpine variety forms neat mounds of evergreen, steely grey-blue foliage. It is highly versatile, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens, patio containers, window boxes, and sunny border edging.
Single flowers featuring vibrant magenta/fuchsia petals with an intense maroon or blackcurrant eye, finished with a contrasting white fringed margin.
Low-growing, dense tufts of steely grey-blue evergreen leaves.
Highly compact, typically reaching a flowering height of 10 to 15 cm and a spread of about 15 to 30 cm.
Fragrance: Strong, spicy, clove-like scent that naturally attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies.
Main flush blooms from May through June, continuing to flower sporadically into autumn.
